It’s Valentine’s Day and for those who are abused it can feel like a very confusing day with a possibility of gaining some nice love and attention from their abuser, perhaps not knowing whether the other side is going to make an appearance instead.

If you recognise what I am saying then this is for you…

To you lovely lady,

If you haven’t been told this for a while I want to let you know that you are beautiful, you can be who you want and most of all you are worth it.

If I could give you a voucher to be who you want to be, what would you do with the voucher and would you cash it in?

Would you change your hair colour? your clothes? personality? career? or where you live?

What would you change?

I used to dream about a happy family, affection, feeling butterflies in my tummy rather than spikes of anxiety. I didn’t think I would ever feel happiness again but believe it or not, I did!!! I finally got my dream family lifestyle and I feel safe, secure, loved, cared for and I get to make my own choices, wear what I want, travel, speak to who I like and most of all be who I want to be.

I encourage you to take my voucher and to seek your happiness, because you are worth it. I may repeat myself here but I want to tell you that you are beautiful, there are people around you that think a lot of you (whether thats family, friends or a support worker), you are valued. I value you and you deserve the best. You are not alone, there are many who are going through the same and there are many who have found their happiness, you are not alone.

I want to wish you a happy Valentines day and send you all the love I can virtually.

Let me know if you claim your voucher and what plans you have if its safe to do so.

Lots of love and best wishes

Jennifer

It’s Valentine’s Day and we all want to read a little romance. My debut novel Isolation Junction gives you romance in an unexpected way, with romance strung through the plot line it makes it an enlightening read.
