A bit delayed on my wrap up but February has been a busy month. Delighted that this is the case of course. Let me give you the highlights…
Started with the month with the release of a FREE eBook – Clipped Wings Revisited.
Clipped Wings Revisited is a collation of messages from some of the contributors to Clipped Wings.
Read why they joined in on the original project, how it has helped them in their own lives and how it has been used to help others as well. It features one of Jennifer Gilmour’s articles about how surviving is hard.
You can download and read for free here.
I joined Kofi Smiles – BBC No Filter which airs on BBC Radio Humberside. I was invited into the studio to talk about my experiences of domestic abuse on the BBC No Filter programme. Subject of conversation was in line with #itsnotok awareness week. You can see a short clip of me below but you can listen to the whole interview which is spread across an hour here.
My first ever YouTube Premier aired for my new series of #AbuseTalk Interviews. The new series will premier each month on the first Wednesday at 7.30pm GMT.
In short: I want to get the answers to questions many have from those that work in the domestic abuse sector. Getting an inside feel for what its really like in their job role and sharing it with all of you.

The announcement went out about the Sort it with Stella and Friends event in Hull which I am speaking at, find out more here.
A short clip filmed by BBC No Filter which shows a glimmer of my experiences of coercive control, this was published on their Facebook page. The BBC No Filter project is to talk about the hard hitting topics and take the filter away from the usual BBC material, with a younger audience in mind as well.
I am delighted to be at Hull’s WHSmith in the Prospect Shopping Centre from 11am on Saturday 6th April. I will be signing my debut novel Isolation Junction, please come and say hello. You can view full information on Eventbrite here or on Facebook here.
I have picked out the highlights as I say but there has been so much more to celebrate. If you want bonus content and behind the scenes access than check this out.
