The Recovery Toolkit

By Sue Penna

A 12 week plan to help people thrive after domestic abuse.

Have you left an abusive relationship?

Are you still carrying guilt?

Would you like to understand, challenge and remove the voice of the perpetrator?

Do you still think what happened to you was your fault?

Do you find dealing with new people in your life something to be scared about?

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to the above questions you are not alone.

Many people who leave an abusive relationship behind are affected by that former relationship in many different ways. Perhaps you feel guilty when making decisions on your own? You may worry about what motivates others to befriend you? Maybe your children are having to re-learn who it is that’s the adult in the room now that your ex-partner has gone from their lives.

If this all sounds familiar then The Recovery Toolkit is the book for you. Written in an easy and accessible style, the abuse recovery book will take you on a journey that is part discovery, part guide.

The Power of Letters

Team Inspire

What you hold in your hand is a collection of letters and poems, showcasing the value of what a positive mindset can achieve. To help remind people to believe in themselves. With a positive frame of mind, you can achieve anything you want. This book shares real-life experiences from everyday people (some famous) from young and old for a diversity of thought across different life journeys.

Challenges can come in all shapes and sizes, and mental health in all its guises does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone, any race, gender and at any age, with varying impact. No matter what you are going through and dealing with, it is always good to know that you are not alone. Our collection of letters will inspire you and remind you that others have triumphed over adversity, and you will, too.

We believe by learning from other people’s true experiences and reflections, you too can find hope.

Work With Me

From an early age I have had a passion for writing and have been gathering ideas and plot lines from my teenage years.

It was only when I had a reason to reach people with my message in my twenties when I took my writing seriously. Not only have I written for my own publications but I have an award winning blog.

Articles I have written have been used in newspaper publications and online sites. I have been commissioned to write blog posts for businesses and recently provided anecdotes for a self help book.

Stuck with your own blog? Need some creative direction? I have eight years of experience writing reviews and two years experience as a columnist. And I have been freelancing for the last year for businesses who need blog posts on a regular basis.

Perhaps you have a project and would like to use my experiences of lived experiences of domestic abuse to aid your work or message.
